You can use it when installing / reinstalling drivers to get rid of the "remains" of the previous version.

Head to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\counter-strike global offensive\ Right click to properties on "csgo.exe" Navigate to Compatibility -> check the "override high DPI scaling behavior" box, and hit "OK". ("Application" from drop-down menu) Restart your game if necessary. Can boost up your fps on slow pc and decrease input lag. This also works with other games if you are having performance issues and know your hardware should run it better than that.

Open latest nVidia Profile Inspector
Select game - Counter-strike: Global Offensive
Find in section Sync and Refresh setting Frame Rate Limiter Mode and set it to _DELAY_FLIP_BY_FLIPMETERING (or _ALLOW_ALL)
Reducing input lag & sometimes increasing fps. Try different settings.
